X

Part 1 of 5 shows how the approach of Planet X is already changing our world. Produced and hosted by Marshall Masters, a former CNN science feature field producer, this program offers a straightforward view of this coming human event. As the co-author and publisher of Planet X Forecast and 2012 Survival Guide, Marshall believes that 2012 will be a survivable, evolutionary event.

Having given some credence to the Pleiades/seven sisters, I can accept that events on earth get shaped at times by them.

I worked with 3 other workmates about 3 years ago, neither courted nor contrived, our paths crossed for 2 years while our 4 lives emitted celestial warfare and wellbeing. Not contrived, we handed in our notices the same week. None of us. I believe, looked back.

The grand conjunctions in recent times promised many auspices, I can't say that I noticed much fancy emanations then and my belief in this frantic barrage bigging up 2012 feels like a smokescreen for new age Aquarians.

If excited newagists don't stop ranting on and on and track other concrete real clues about the Earth's real needs from us, grand conjunctions will lead us to the salons of middle class boredom where unguarded quaker trepidation builds on fantasy and quackery.

Ain't that the truth.

This video gets progressively creepy and bizarre as it develops.

2012 resonates with me in ways that aren't heard from much these days.

Since attracting the attention of illumines of pastimes, century's ends and beginnings were, it seems, rocky rides. Just a little hop then and the century gets cheekily extrapolated to the millenium!

And commensurately more naughty.

Just like my illumines mates, loads of dodgy logic and leaps of faith to put shame to the excesses of William Blake.

Unfortunately, the upshot of all the quacks on the international stage,is, simply put, the creation of new age noise.

Like you, Indi, all my eggs are in my own basket, I can smell cranks and quacks all over the place, I am my library's librarian who constantly reassesses the relevance of each of the pieces.

There are just these fucking dilletantes every way I turn. I can't even fucking spell (don't know what I'm supposed to be doing half the time. (feel free to sympathise).

I'm usually sympathic, even in violent disagreement. Except when dealing with small-minded games.

The problem with all this is sages and charlatans are often similar in attractiveness.

Wasn't it Goethe who said the difference between beautiful women and pretty women is the beautiful have a touch of the bizarre?

Commensurate naughtiness appeals in every possible way.

I may have stumbled upon a new mantra.

haven't watched the video yet Indi. I'm still searching for link(s) about 2012 really being 2010. Daughter was trying to explain something one of her teachers mentioned in class. Has to do with all of those extra fractions of a second that were/are not figured into the the various calendars (mayan, georgian, julian...) since "time" began. Something about if you added them all up, we're off about 2 years. This is all I can find -- 2012+2008-2009, people got their interpretation wrong Interesting thread of comments.

I particularly related to this comment:
"I'm just saying here if what the Mayans said really is true than people got their interpretations of the text mixed up. 2012 is really happening right now and people read it wrongly. Just look at what we're going through now. I bet by the end of this financial crisis people will become more enlightened and maybe realize that there is more to life than just money."

another link I just came across with lots of interesting thoughts --
2012, the Mayans and today's doomsday prophets

Hi, JC. Thanks for that, but I see the 'wrong date' cannard as something of a red herring...or sort of fiddling while Rome burns. As is the doomsday characterization.

Apocalypse can be a catastrophically painful change as well as a perceptual game changer.
Either/or...or both.

It wasn't just the Mayans who referred to 2012 in Apocalyptic/Age turning terms. There's a long list of wisdom traditions that do, not to to mention Terence McKenna's 'Time Wave Zero' theory (which is remarkably coincidental, if nothing else).

The planet is screaming at us to wake the fuck up before we foul this nest beyond repair, if we don't grow-up, grow a pair and get with it, we all are going tits-up...regardless of the pinpoint accuracy of Mayan prophecy.

The smarter voices have been silenced, but the internet has managed to give them a chance. Maybe they'll be heard before its too late and War and Money are fully exposed for the crippling shams they are.

Maybe we snap out of our mass delusion before the food and water runs out, our castles-in-the-air crumble, or before some sort of Hollywood doomsday befalls us. I kinda doubt it.

Wake the fuck up for sure. I was at a town meeting the other night and decided to speak to those present before the meeting began. I asked if anyone was as outraged as I was over the recent 5-4 supreme court decision. No one had read about it. OK........ next I through out the "move your money" movement. Again, no one knew of this. I explained how it was a simple way for us "working class" folk to do something -- ANYTHING -- to take a stand. I asked for anyone present to consider moving their money (if they had any) from their big banks into a community bank or a credit union with no bank affiliation. The few responses I received: accountant -- "Don't leave Bank of America -- they're one of our clients". Worker Bee - "Don't leave TD Bank North -- that's where I work".

Hopeless

I think at the next meeting I'll back up a few years and start with the real deal about 9/11. I'll bring some hard cold facts along with me.

You're something else, JC. Would that there were more like you. Ha...I can just imagine you taking the bull by the horns like that. Too funny...and too sad, such is life.

I'm glad you got back to me here, I wanted to say more and I spend way too much time talking to myself. And I never win an argument.

I forgot what I was going to add, but I'm listening to a C-Realm podcast that gets into what we're talking about. Fascinating discussion once it gets to into it. We sure have been jerked around as a people...and it seems we are so indoctrinated we beg for more, even as we bitch about our mundane displeasures.

That gets me back to 2012, and what it's really all about. The Mayan elders say they welcome it, despite the pain of the transition. They say it will be a shift in consciousness and the scales will fall from our collective eyes, that we'll see the world for what it really is. We won't be blind or deluded regarding the sacred realm we subsume now for the carnival of our materialism.

Not just the Maya, but the Hopi, Kogi, African, and many Eastern traditions say much the same. It's funny that most view ancient wisdom as quaint, and anything new is improved. I blame it on soap commercials.

;)

I can do that, as you say 'the scales fall from our eyes.'

I learnt of a system when I lived at a few thou' above in the French Cevennes.

In a precognitive state much of the time, every single living bit of my beautiful planet shone brightly enough that my third eye rejoyced at last bathing in pure ontological freedom (not freedom from or freedom to).

I have not met one single person in 30 years who knew how to achieve the most sublime awakening which can be shared by others, who attempt to make it to the true and final nirvana.

We live in interesting times.

Whom was it you met 30 years ago, I can't help wondering?

"Most" is a value judgment. Any sublime awakening is good enough for me. It's a start, anyway.

And what is "final" in the realm of eternity?

In the Ardeche, France, there was room for scores of bodhisitvas 30 years ago. Many of the communautes dotted around the departement housed individuals who tried to get by peacefully selling craft items or performing paying gigs. The winter is very very cold and issues about water supply and utilities, as well as being cold took a toll among many of Les Marginaux.

Because the image of my unfolding egoic lotus eventually taught me that when I reached the end, it was merely a ridge stretching out to the next horizon, the image of a state of transcendentalism continues to me, to be a lure. Nirvana is a confidence trick towards which many paths aspire. Do not be told that nirvana is somehow grandiose or illustrious, the quest for nirvana is a signpost that indicates the way of tao. Essentially, nirvana conveys a person from the static to the dynamic, meditation doesn't tick all the boxes, its usefulness lies in the attainment of awakening which leads to the greater, yet typically unimportant practise of wu wei.

Will that do for now, signor Indi?

Interesting.

So, why not be here now, wu-weily?

That would do for all time.

I don't claim to know much, I'm just curious.

There's no holding me back now Indi. This morning I received an e-mail blast from a friend who, like me, does a lot of volunteer work in the school system. We are on a lot of the same committees together. He's a hard core bush loving, church going republican. I'm pretty sure he's a closet racist also -- you know the type. His kid is one of my daughter's friends and whenever he's over, he's his father's mini-me: "I bet if you were black you'd get the job" - "Those puerto ricans....." "I can't believe all the Indian's moving into town" blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, here's a copy of the e-mail:

SOCIAL SECURITY CHANGES

It does not matter if you personally like or dislike Obama. You need to sign this petition and flood his e-mail box with e-mails that tell him that, even if the House passes this bill, he needs to veto it.. It is already impossible to live on Social Security alone. If the government gives benefits to 'illegal' aliens who have never contributed, where does that leave those of us who have paid into Social Security all our working lives?

As stated below, the Senate voted this week to allow 'illegal' aliens access to Social Security benefits.
Attached is an opportunity to sign a petition that requires citizenship for eligibility to that social service.

Instructions are below. If you don't forward the petition and just stop it, we will lose all these names.

If you do not want to sign it, please just forward it to everyone you know.

Thank you!

To add your name, click on 'forward'. Address it to all of your email correspondents, add your name to the list and send it on.

When the petition hits 1,000, send it to comment@whitehouse.gov

PETITION for President Obama:

Dear Mr. President:
We, the undersigned, protest the bill that the Senate voted on recently which would allow illegal aliens to access our Social Security. We demand that you and all Congressional representatives require citizenship as a pre-requisite for social services in the United States .

---------------------------------

I freaked out when I saw it and decided -- what the hell -- and hit the reply all button with the following message --

This is NOT true:

http://www.factcheck.org/2009/03/social-security-for-illegal-immigrants/

We've got some serious problems here folks. Please turn off 'Faux News' and all of the other 24/7 OPINION sites (these are NOT news sites).

PLEASE take some time this weekend to listen to President Obama at yesterday's republican conference in Baltimore.

This is a MUST SEE for everyone, regardless of your political affiliations.
PLEASE put them aside and pay very close attention to what is going on here.

I have never seen a more divided nation in my life. This has got to stop now.

FYI -- I voted for Nader and I am a bleeding heart, tree hugging, ULTRA conservative, libertarian socialist

-------------------------------

This is the first time I have ever done anything like this. I think I am going to start a "WTF" movement.

I just can't put up with the willful ignorance anymore.

I tend to be very passionate about things that get my goat. It infuriates me to no end. It's not healthy for me, so I tend to just throw my hands up in the air and .............SMOKE A BIG FAT ONE!

It's time to put the bong down for a while and take it to the streets. I'm thinking of making a little "WTF" sign to hang around my neck and go to area town council and BOE meetings with handouts linking to various websites (i.e. zeitgeist movement and video, reputable 9/11 conspiracy sites, New World Order stuff, etc.)

Because for men like me,sporting the robe and the bowel will never happen. Apart from sniping from the moral high ground, getting my needs met and living a life of constant distraction, I rely wholly on little parcels of continuous awakening. This I remember; considerable effort is necessary to scale the shining mountain and great skill. I had friends alot more adept, whom I mimicked until I could reach the pinnacles, and more effort to maintain the position.

I am blessed with instinct to follow the shining path, with company each of whom can grasp and act on the stumbles along the way. Awakening is very present, but not needed, abstention which shows me there is no need for awakening, thus fulfilling yet another caveat.
And whatever punk! Just fucking do it! I always have thought too much.

I do know 2 tricks at least: perform linguistic surgery on the words that leave people's mouths. Learn that ambiguity is the seekers most powerful tool in the technology of awakening. Get random after you have drawn your sword to word. Try and then see the effects in the world just around you.

I mention briefly about accessing your unconcious being while awake, there are simple things you might want to try. I can catch id working away from time to time. Not been there in years.

Sorry JC - I did not notice your comment until I had already posted mine. I find this presidency delightful from a distance. As the number one social problem, racism might become a major issue in the months and years to come. Can I see "The West" attacking UK or Australia? Or Israel? No. Attacking nations with non-christian populations?

Goes to John Lennon. The most respected song in history? What does that say about everyone we share our lives with? And what do all of them really want?

The show goes on.

ROCK ON, JC- I could feature you as Queen of the WTF MOVEMENT. Break some eggs, make some omletes, I say.

I admire your civic minded fury. I have a powerful aversion to bigotry in any form, but I'm not much of an activist. Good on you!

Z- I know you meant "robe and the bowl", not "robe and the bowel", but I had a real childish moment at first blush. Oh man, I'm receding into my own Wonderland. So sorry.

I appreciate what you say, but I think you might be one revelation away from a complete perceptual reorginizion principle. There's something missing, I sense, in the equation of your grand unification model. But, that's just by my dodgy cosmic mathematics.

At 4:50 PM , Blogger Indigobusiness said...

reorginizion?

I'm gonna let that one live.
