A large part of this medical disaster that the United States currently experiences is due to the way our medical community is organized. Basically it is not organized to heal and to cure disease; the medical community, particularly at its upper levels, is a commercial venture organized to make money for its practitioners. The Cardiac surgeon, for example, does nothing whatsoever to cure cardiac disease. Three to five percent of the heart surgery patients die on the operating table. Cardiac surgery provides no better three year survival rate than no treatment at all. A Harvard survival study of 200,000 patients revealed that the long term survival rate of patients subjected to surgery was no better than the survival rate of those that had no surgery. oh Indi I can SO relate to this. I've been on a crusade to return my body's Ph to an alkalinity state.
Cancer cells can't thrive in an Alkaline Environment.
After much running around to "Drug" stores in search of pH paper, I finally found a pharmacy that had one.
Saliva pH Test
When I went to Walgreens, I asked the pharmacy clerk if they had any pH test strips -- she referred me to Home Depot. I told her I wasn't looking for the pool pH test, but wanted the PEOPLE pH test! She didn't know what I was talking about and referred me to the pharmacist. I asked him if they had any - he said no. I asked if he could order some and he said no. I asked WHY NOT??? He told me that a few weeks ago someone else had come in looking for the same thing. He called Walgreen's distributor and was told that they could not get them. I replied "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" to which he said "NO. I. AM. NOT" in a very frustrated tone. I asked him if he was aware of the benefits of your body being in an alkaline state and that if people only knew about this simple test, they could prevent a lot of disease. He replied "oh I am VERY aware of this". I asked him "doesn't that bother you?" and he said "EVERY. SINGLE. DAY"

That's bizarre. Another sign of the Apocalypse. I found some strips here, but we used to to buy litmus strips at hobby shops, to use in our misquided chemistry set experiments. Toys R Us hobby section probably even has some.
Tell me more about your alkalinization approach, I looked into that awhile back but I fell off the wagon.
I did the cayenne pepper, grade-B maple syrup, fresh lemon juice thing. I wound up mixing a good part of it with a buddy's tequila while we were camped in an American River canyon on a gold hunting "adventure".
