Apocalypse Pending
Apocalypse
is a Greek word and is formed by the combination of apo (away) with calypse (disclose). Thus it connotes the idea of "open" or "revealed."An Apocalypse in the terminology of early Jewish and Christian literature, is a revelation of hidden things given by God to a chosen prophet; this term is more often used to describe the written account of such a revelation. Apocalyptic literature is of considerable importance in the history of the Judeo-Christian-Islamic-Rastafarian tradition, as beliefs such as the resurrection of the dead, judgment day, heaven and hell are all made explicit in it. Apocalyptic beliefs predate Christianity, appear in other religions, and have merged into contemporary secular society, especially through popular culture (see Apocalypticism).
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are mentioned in the Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation, which predicts that they will ride during the Apocalypse. The four horsemen are traditionally named War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. However, this is slightly at odds with the conventional interpretation of the Bible, which actually only names one: Death.

You deserve so much more than these bot comments. Everything on here is cool. But if you do want to be nice to me, do the thing with the slice-of-lime image from my sidebar (it's hosted here, you can hotlink if you want: http://www.socialistwanker.com/sublime.jpg) and "realgem" in lime-green courier new underneath. Doesn't have to be big or anything. I'm going to stop using "Never Too Late" pretty soon and just call the whole damn thing "realgem" and ask everyone who links to me change the name. My £150/hour re-branding consultant told me it would be a good move.
Ok, I met your outrageous demands: your lime slice gif has been added and "Never Too Late" has been removed. Anything else, while I'm in an obsequious mood?
I am NOT an Asshole.
