Collective Psychosis
The Madness of George W. Bush:
A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis
George W. Bush is ill. He has a psycho-spiritual dis-ease of the soul, a sickness that is endemic to our culture and symptomatic of the times in which we live. It is an illness that has been with us since time immemorial.-excellent audio intvw (via Out The Rabbit Hole)-Paul Levy

People say these things who never was psychotic, just what the word 'psychotic' evokes. It is a damn blasphemy that anything weird gets the epithet. Yes! Life is madder and madder, walk towards the light; don't look back.

This is about the potential for pathological imbalance in everyone, it
goes to how this pathology has usurped human prosperity.
It makes a point of an absence of blame-casting in the recognition of this root of cultural ill-health.
The audio intvw is remarkably insightful, it seems to me.
I kindof know what you mean Indi.
I want to say: Unlike consumer greed that points straight at our pathology then walks straight on by, prosperity, is a phenomenal safe house we all know down in the forest. Where we need little to keep our lives the meandering by. Where exposure puts 2 logs on the fire.
You know the duplicate texts, and where they point toward the outcome where tehe pathology is more of a disaster for that group's punters.
We know the suspects with their big boy bullshit. I want to negotiate a way forward, that is the essence of resolving pathology.

Yep, and so long as prosperity is measured in mostly material terms, we hold ourselves back from the next plateau of human potential.
