There's a lot to be said for eating what you want, when you want. There's even more to be said for wanting to eat sustainable foods whose production doesn't trash the planet. (Fortunately, chocolate cake is a healthy, sustainable food, and actually does make a halfway decent breakfast!)
Ultimately, the most appealing, hottest thing about any person is the extent to which they get the global picture. "Eating simply, so that others may simply live" should be more than a bumpersticker slogan.
Most Americans operate at the emotional level of toddlers, continually stuffing their faces with whatever junky crap (ie, fast food) is marketed to them. This kind of person is neither hot nor appealing, and usually looks like crap, to boot.
This is a postmodern bra burning excoriating the exploitive diet fad manipulation of the fattened masses.
Plus, it plays into my personal philosophy of linking to Cerina Vincent in any possible way.
